DESCRIPTION:An evening of music\, dancing\, food\, and community. \nJoin us for the West Kootenay Fibreshed Square Dance & Auction Fundraiser on Saturday\, April 18 at the Rod & Gun Club in Nelson. \nNo square dance experience needed\, we’ll have a caller to guide you through\, live music to keep things moving\, and plenty of space to jump in (or just watch and take it all in). \nThe night also includes a silent + live auction featuring handmade goods\, tools\, materials\, and experiences from across the region\, along with a costume contest (highly encouraged\, loosely interpreted). \nSchedule:\n5:30 – Doors\n6:15 – Square Dance\n7:15 – Silent Auction + Costume Contest\n8:00 – Live Auction \nTimberdogs from Eric’s Meat Market in Kaslo will be available for purchase as well as beer from NBC! \nTickets: $30 \nFunds raised support accessible fibre arts programming\, shared tools\, fair pay for facilitators\, and the work it takes to keep this growing community going. \nCome dance\, bid\, connect\, or just be in the room. \nEveryone is welcome.
