DESCRIPTION:Barak Shulman first picked up a guitar in the mid-90s\, jamming with his brother and best friend during the heyday of the Seattle sound — a scene that deeply shaped his musical taste from just across the border in Vancouver\, BC. Inspired by that era’s raw energy\, Barak went on to earn an online guitar certificate from Berklee College of Music\, sharpening his craft. \nHe played his first gig on New Year’s Eve 2014 at The Wolf and Hound in Kitsilano\, just months before packing up a U-Haul with his girlfriend (now wife)\, their cat\, and their dreams\, and heading east to Nelson\, BC. Since then\, Barak has played hundreds of shows throughout the region. His live sets are an acoustic journey through four decades of rock and soul; think Led Zeppelin\, Tom Petty\, The Verve\, John Mayer\, and more!
