DESCRIPTION:Deep Grooves\, 90s House\, and Tech finally available in Nelson\, BC! \nOBSKUR MUSIC launches its first event in a new series dedicated to long-form DJ storytelling with Body Logic. Each edition invites two carefully selected DJs to play extended sets\, creating space for deeper journeys across deep house\, tech house\, classic house\, and deep-cut grooves. \n \nThis series is about patience\, progression\, and the kind of dance-floor moments that only unfold over time. No rush… just sound\, space\, and connection. \n \n ★★LINEUP★★ \nEMERENCZ  \nEmerencz is a DJ\, producer\, and head of OBSKUR MUSIC\, based in Nelson\, British Columbia. Their work as a DJ began in 2009 in southwestern Alberta. The pioneering house and techno scenes of Chicago\, New York\, and Detroit first drew them into dance music\, laying the foundation for their sound. The early 2000s evolution of tech house gave those influences a deeper\, more restrained shape. Stripped-down rhythms meet bubbling\, acid-tinged textures and deep synth stabs\, creating a hypnotic\, late-night atmosphere where warmth\, movement\, and subtle tension guide the journey. His live electronic trio We™ (from way back in the ’90s) sailed Brooklyn bass music over the Atlantic.
