      Event Series: P.L.U.R. Vol. 2

      P.L.U.R. Vol. 2

Please join us for a night of nostalgia as we delve into the roots of rave culture and celebrate the timeless principles of P.L.U.R.: Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. In these tumultuous times of polarization, fascism, and genocide, we feel the need to gather to explore and celebrate core values that can help orient us towards a future we want to imagine into existence. This event is a tribute to the early days of the rave, where each step was an acknowledgement of our shared humanity that unites us in peace, love, unity, and respect. We hope that this event will fill your cup and inspire you to spread PLUR all day everyday, now and into the future. We invite you to wear what makes you feel at home in your body on the dance floor and get creative with how you show up! However, don’t let that be a deterrent, just come as you are.
We can’t wait to welcome local cultural stewards @dose.productions for their debut set with us, house music connoisseur and tastemaker @emerencz for a rare b2b with @mochileromusic , and progressive house legend Christopher Wayne to the barn on music duty. We’re also stoked about welcoming back our drag heroes @lbee_thedragjack @al.e.katz @cherry.riot.rx @algore__rhythm back to the barn for that one of a kind Kootenay drag. Expect the unexpected! It’s been a hot minute since @_______.shiv.__ has graced us with an aerial performance, so we can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for the eve. Finally, we’ll close the night with an acoustic set by the wonderful, kind, and humble @mika.moon_ , who will send us off into the night with her heartfelt melodies. We’ll be raising money for @queermomentum , an organization that is going up against the Alberta government to defend and support trans people against their harmful transphobic legislation. Please scroll down on the page to find the verrrry important parking directions and community agreements. Please follow the directions so we can keep hosting these events with ya’ll beauties. Finally, we’re looking for some volunteers to help with setup and door during the event. Holla if that’s u!
