Emily Millard Album Release Concert with Special Guest Allison Girvan
A Night of Music and Storytelling
Join singer-songwriter Emily Millard for an intimate community concert as she debuts her highly anticipated fourth album, Hazy Blue.
In Hazy Blue, Millard, known for her complex, layered storytelling, explores the many facets of love—from heartbreak to healing. The album by the Contemporary Music & Technology Program faculty member has already garnered significant national attention, with the single “The Cost of Love” climbing to #5 on the CBC Radio National Top 20 chart.
Fellow faculty members Joel Fountain (drums) and Jill McKenna (bass) will join Millard, along with Gavin Youngash (guitar) and Trent Freeman (violin), both visiting from Vancouver.
The concert will begin with a special opening set by faculty member Allison Girvan, an internationally respected singer known for her innovative and collaborative work across genres.
